How it works

From your phone to their tank

Three simple journeys — one secure system.

For the buyer (you)

01
Choose an amount and pay online

Pick TOP 50, 100, 200, 500 or a custom amount. Pay securely by card through Stripe — in NZ dollars, with the rate shown at checkout.

02
The FuelPass is sent instantly

Your family gets a one-time QR code and 8-digit code — by SMS and email — the moment you pay. You get a receipt and your own copy.

03
Track it in your dashboard

With an account, every FuelPass lives in your dashboard — unused, used, or expiring — with one-tap re-send.

The Palu Fuel FuelPass on a phone

For your family in Tonga

01
Get the code from your family

No app, no smartphone, no internet needed — just the 8-digit code we text straight to you.

02
Show the code at the counter

At any of the four Palu Fuel stations.

03
Staff verify, they fill up

Verification takes seconds on the staff app. The full FuelPass value is theirs.

Security, built in

One-time use

Redeemed once, permanently spent. Two stations can't spend the same FuelPass, even on a slow connection.

Codes stored hashed

Codes can't be read from our database — even by us.

Stripe payments

Card details never touch our servers (PCI SAQ A).

Every scan logged

Staff accounts are station-scoped, so every redemption is attributable.

For Palu station staff

A staff app that's built for the forecourt

Station login, QR scanning and manual code entry, full-screen approval, and offline-tolerant sync. Every redemption is logged to the shift report.
